Welcome to the new world of wallcoverings. A lot has changed since you last used wallpaper. The industry has changed. Manufacturers not make their prints to be easily hung and removed. One of the biggest reasons why people left wallpaper 20 years ago because it was more difficult to use versus paint. Customers did not want to spend days installing and removing wallpaper. Wallpaper allows you to do so much more with your interior spaces than paint. Yes, paint is still a tad bit easier, however, you cannot create the same dramatic scenes as you can with wallcoverings. You will find a wide range of prices when shopping for wallpaper. More expensive does not always mean better. The price you see will typical be based off the following factors:

• Is it a designer brand?  Designer brands will cost 2x the amount of non-designer brands.
• Is it textured?  Textured, or raised inks, will cost 2x the amount of smooth prints. 
• Are there elements embedded into the wallpaper? Patterns with sand, glass beads, metallic glitter or cork will cost 3x the amount of wallpaper without them.
